Steven Phillips is currently Company Manager at The Grange Festival and has managed the Leeds Lieder Young Artists programme since 2018. He worked for seven years at Opera North; five years as Chorus Manager, taking the Chorus to perform Grimes on the Beach as part of Aldeburgh Festival’s 2013 Britten Centenary celebrations and producing Into the Woods, Opera North’s 2016 co-production with West Yorkshire Playhouse, fully cast from the full-time ensemble. These live, interactive opera experiences, were taken into schools, community centres, care homes, pubs, libraries, museums and universities. Steven has also freelanced for Charles Court Opera, producing productions at the Kings Head Theatre (London), Iford Festival and G&S International Festival.
