
Alice Turner is an award-winning accompanist, repetiteur and vocal coach. After 18 years as a staff pianist at the Guildhall School of Music she now works on the music staff of the Royal College of Music as an accompanist, coach and repetiteur.
She trained at the RNCM, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and with Rudolf Jansen and Helmut Deutsch in Amsterdam and Brussels.
Alice has performed extensively across Europe, with recital partners including Kseniia Nikolaieva,
Elizabeth Llewellyn, Rebecca Afonwy-Jones, Eyjolfur Eyjolfsson, Benedict Nelson, Viktor Korotich, and Madeleine Pierard. Highlights of recent years include concerts at Cadogan Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Edinburgh Festival, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Sage Gateshead, Wales Millennium Centre and for the International Opera Awards alongside broadcasts for BBC Radio 3 and Dutch National Radio.
An experienced coach and repetiteur, she has worked for ENO, Glyndebourne, WNO, Irish National Opera, Snape Maltings Britten Pears Arts, Grange Park Opera, Longborough Festival Opera, West Green House Opera and Opera Holland Park.
She first attended Oxenfoord as a student and now looks forward to each summer as one of the course accompanists and coaches.
