Alice Turner

Alice Turner is an award-winning accompanist, vocal coach and repetiteur, specialising in Lieder, art song and German, Italian and French language. She lives in London, where she works on the music staff of the Royal College of Music as an accompanist, vocal coach and repetiteur in the Vocal and Opera Department.

She trained at the RNCM and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, before studying privately with Rudolf Jansen and Helmut Deutsch in Amsterdam and Brussels.

Alice has performed extensively across Europe, with recital partners including Rebecca Afonwy-Jones, Eyjolfur Eyjolfsson, Gary Griffiths, Viktor Korotich, Elizabeth Llewellyn and  Madeleine Pierard. Highlights of recent years include concerts at Bridgewater Hall, Concertgebouw, Edinburgh Festival, La Monnaie, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Sage Gateshead, Wales Millennium Centre and the new Katara Opera House, Doha, alongside broadcasts for BBC Radio 3 and Dutch National Radio.

An experienced repetiteur, she has worked for ENO, WNO, Irish National Opera, Grange Park Opera, Longborough Festival Opera and Opera Holland Park, and coaches privately in London.
