Oxenfoord starts exactly 4 months today!!
Oxenfoord 2019 will now start on Sunday 28th July, teaching beginning at 3pm, with lunch at 1pm followed by a Group Vocal warm up with Russell Smythe. All practice room facilities will be available from 11am and we can show people to their rooms from then too. We apologise for the change but this is due to unforeseen building works at Loretto School. We are delighted to welcome Catherine Wyn-Rogers who will join for a few days of teaching at the beginning of the course. Oxenfoord 2019 is all set, we are at near full capacity so if you do plan to be joining the course this Summer please apply soon to avoid disappointment. Due to a change in availability both Martin Pickard and Tony Kraus are unavailable to join the teaching staff for 2019 but we hope return another year. We welcome vocal coach and répétiteur Duncan Williams, currently teaching at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Duncan will offer a Opera Coaching Class and Playing Vocal Score Opera Reductions plus work with the Opera Scene students preparing the Opera Scene excerpts. We extend a warm welcome to Duncan and also to returning Staff accompanist Christine Gough joining for a few afternoons. The popular 1.45 Series of Demonstrations continues Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
